1. What is the difference between Selvam Charitable Trust and SJRN Foundation?
Selvam Charitable Trust is our legal registered name, and SJRN Foundation is our operating brand name for public communication and project activities.
2. Is the Trust registered and eligible for tax exemption?
Yes. Selvam Charitable Trust is a registered public charitable trust eligible for tax exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
3. How can I make a donation?
You can donate through UPI, net banking, debit/credit cards, or direct bank transfers. Visit our 'Donate Now' page for details.
4. Will I receive a donation receipt and 80G certificate?
Yes. All donors will receive a digital receipt and an 80G certificate via email within 7 working days of the donation.
5. How are my donations used?
Donations are used for various social initiatives including education, healthcare, artificial limbs, tree plantation, and more. We ensure transparency and accountability in fund utilization.
6. Can I volunteer or intern with SJRN Foundation?
Absolutely! We welcome volunteers and interns from all backgrounds. Visit the 'Get Involved' page to register your interest.
7. Can I donate in memory of someone?
Yes. You can dedicate your donation in memory of a loved one. Such contributions can go towards planting trees or supporting a specific cause.

9. Do you provide physical receipts or only digital ones?
By default, we provide digital receipts. If you require a physical copy, please mention it while donating or contact us post-donation.

Most of our initiatives are conducted in the Coimbatore and Tiruppur districts of Tamil Nadu, with plans to expand to more regions.
