Payment Terms
These Payment Terms govern all donations made to Selvam Charitable Trust (operating as SJRN Foundation) through our website or other official channels. By making a donation, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Nature of Donations
All donations made to the Trust are voluntary and intended to support our charitable projects. The Trust reserves the right to allocate funds as per priority needs, unless a specific cause is selected by the donor.
2. Accepted Payment Methods
• UPI
• Credit/Debit Cards
• Net Banking
• Direct Bank Transfer
• Cheque or Demand Draft (in favor of ‘Selvam Charitable Trust’)
3. Currency and Amount
All donations are accepted in Indian Rupees (INR). Donations made in other currencies via payment gateways will be converted at prevailing rates. Minimum donation value, if applicable, will be mentioned on the donation form.
4. Donation Confirmation & Receipts
Upon successful donation, a confirmation email and payment receipt will be sent to the donor’s registered email address. Eligible donations will also receive an 80G certificate within 7 working days.
5. Refund Policy
Donations made to the Trust are non-refundable. Requests for refund due to technical errors (e.g., duplicate transactions) will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Such requests must be made within 7 days of the transaction, along with proof of payment.
6. Tax Exemption under 80G
Selvam Charitable Trust is registered under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961. Donors are eligible to claim income tax exemption as per applicable laws. Ensure that accurate PAN and address details are provided during donation for issuance of certificates.
